​Hello Park Street Families,

  On behalf of the Home and School Association I want to welcome you back to another fun and exciting year at Park Street School. If this is your first year with a child at PSS, know that the Home and School Association does everything we can to ensure that the children have the best experience possible. Each school year we fundraise in a variety of ways, and all money is put back into the school. We are always striving to enhance the student’s learning, help with teacher resources, or brighten the day of everyone in the school. We have lots of fundraising planned for 2021-2022.

 This year the Hot Lunch program will continue and be expanded:

· On TUESDAYS children will have the option to purchase two slices of cheese pizza and a juice box for 5$. (Pizza from Dominos)

 · On THURSDAYS, lunch (two options) will be prepared by Jobs Unlimited and delivered to the school. For September and October, the options will be spaghetti, meat sauce and garlic bread for 5$ OR Grilled cheese with fruit/veggies for 5$

As with last year, all lunches can be purchased through school cash online. This year, you will be able to purchase lunches two months at a time. Hopefully this simplifies the ordering process for parents. Because of deadlines from submissions to Job Unlimited, all orders for the following week will need to be placed BEFORE Friday morning at 8am.

Our first fundraiser for the year will begin in two weeks. We will kick the year off with the Epicure box fundraiser. (More info to follow)

If you are interested in joining our Home and School Association this year, please join us for our first meeting on September 22, 2021, at 7pm. This will be a virtual (Teams) meeting, and we will continue virtually for the time being. We welcome any new members and would love to see some new faces. If you would like to come, please send me an email (listed below) to ensure you get the meeting invite.

You do not need to be a H & S member to help us out. If you have any capacity to volunteer for fundraisers or hot lunches this year, please reach out! We will keep a list of all interested adults and can communicate when volunteers are needed.
